Required Qualifications:

Graduate Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related health care field required. Minimum 3 to 5 years proven leadership experience. Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working with Indigenous communities and/or organizations in a professional capacity. Minimum 3-5 years of direct clinical experience in addiction and mental health and/or a variety of healthcare settings (e.g., urgent/emergent, acute, community). Active registration with professional affiliation. Training in trauma-informed practice. Knowledge in the utilization of educational platforms. Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g. Word, Excel). Ability to prioritize tasks, meet established deadlines and escalate issues for resolution. Knowledge of adult learning principles, concepts and practices. Ability to foster effective working relationships with staff. Evidence of strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of the complexities of the AHS organization, federal and provincial Indigenous health care systems including community settings. Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative.

Preferred Qualifications:

Indigenous focus in formal education preferred (e.g., Indigenous Social Work). Fluency in an Indigenous Language preferred. Equivalencies of Indigenous knowledge and experience will be considered. Teletriage / contact centre experience an asset. Excellent communication, presentation, and technical writing skills.
