Minimum of a graduate degree in health care management, business administration or a related health care field. Progressive senior leadership experience in a healthcare environment, including five (5) years’ experience in a senior management role in diagnostic imaging, clinical services or healthcare operations. The incumbent will demonstrate a clear pattern of professional and personal development. Equivalencies of education and experience will be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:

In addition, you show a strong ability to manage change and develop innovative solutions for complex challenges, while effectively overseeing diverse human, financial, and physical resources within a dynamic environment. In addition to utilizing skills in strategic thinking, taking into account long-term goals, assessing options and implications, you are an effective communicator with strong organizational skills, client-focused orientation, and commitment to providing long term quality services. With your strength in fostering partnerships to achieve organizational goals within a large, diverse organization and managing within a unionized sector, the SOO is skilled in creating a climate of cooperation amongst, and build solid relationships with, public agencies, government, boards, committees and other partners. The position is required to abide by the highest standards of confidentiality and have a sound understanding of the principles within Alberta’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, as well as the Health Information Act.
Preferred Qualifications:
Qualifications in a Diagnostic Imaging profession is preferred.
