Required Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree in a healthcare profession, healthcare management or business administration is required. A member in good standing with his or her professional licensing body, where applicable. This role will be a key contact and leader in facilitating campus communications, engagement, information gathering for zone and provincial needs, as well as in connecting throughout Edmonton Zone and with the provincial CC teams throughout the roll out. All Non-Union Exempt positions are being reviewed for possible inclusion in the AUPE General Support Services bargaining unit. If this position is impacted, the incumbent will be notified accordingly.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Progressive leadership experience within healthcare sector, with evidence of well-developed relationships with key internal stakeholders. A minimum of five years of successful experience in a senior management role in clinical services or healthcare operations. Knowledge and expertise in the areas of quality methods, clinical information systems, information management, program evaluation, change management, project management and data analysis. Extensive practical experience in strategy development, project delivery, program delivery, performance management and process improvement. Experience working with financial and clinical performance analysis. Strong leadership skills including effective decision-making, coaching and teaching with an ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Demonstrated ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues. An ability to foster cooperation amongst and build solid relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders. An understanding of the full range of health services from Public Health through home and community, to acute care, as well as Mental Health and Addiction in Adults and Pediatrics. Respecting and enacting the principles of patient-and-family-centered care and a commitment to ensuring care teams put patients, clients, and their families at the center of everything they do, including care planning and decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters degree is considered an asset. CPHIMS-CA Certification (Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems). Membership in COACH (Canada’s Health Informatics Association) is considered an asset.
