Graduate Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related health care field required. Minimum 3-5 years of direct clinical experience in addiction and mental health in various healthcare settings and proven leadership experience. Equivalencies of education and experience will be considered. Active registration with professional affiliation. Competency in concurrent capable practice within addiction and mental health. Knowledge of principles and practices that support adult learning, as well as best practices in a contact centre environment and experience with telehealth and online service delivery models and practices. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment; excellent communication, analytical and decision-making skills and able to plan, organize and manage short- and long-term plans and projects. Solid working knowledge of the continuum of Addiction and Mental Health services available within Alberta Health Services, and the range of community-based services that address the social determinants of health. Advanced skills in assessment and intervention for individuals of all ages with addiction and mental health concerns, including crisis intervention skills.
Additional Required Qualifications:Must have a proven track record in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders along with an ability to foster a climate of cooperation and ability to build solid relationships with public agencies, government, committees, and other partners. Must be an effective communicator with change leadership experience, and have proven ability to create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues. Strong leadership skills are required, including a demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching, teaching, and ability to inspire and build confidence in others.
Preferred Qualifications:In-depth knowledge of teletriage with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a teletriage environment. Expert knowledge in Microsoft office suite products. PROSCI certified. Experience in quality improvement is an asset.
