Masters Degree in health economics or economics with health background plus a minimum of 3 years experience undertaking economic analyses in a health related field. A minimum of 3 years experience in a health care organization of significant size, complexity and diversity (healthcare experience an asset). A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.
Additional Required Qualifications:
The incumbent will possess a record of accomplishment in the following areas: Excellent knowledge of economic methodologies, approaches and analyses. Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills. Experience coordinating multidisciplinary projects that involve multiple stakeholders. Ability to design clear procedures for collecting, cleaning and reporting data. Ability to conduct comprehensive searches of literature (academic and non-academic) Proven ability to collaborate with administrators, researchers, and planners. Strong ability to plan, organize and manage short and long term plans and projects and deliver customer-focused results. Strong analytical and decision-making skills. Strong skills working with databases and statistical software. Strong critical appraisal skills. Demonstrated ability to work well in a high-paced team setting and independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
PhD in health economics or economics with health background.
