Required Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree or college diploma related to technology, preferably with a strong technical background in a related field (e.g. health economics, business, statistics, quality assurance, etc.) or several years of equivalent experience and clear demonstration of expert knowledge of key technical tools and concepts.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Experience using EMR systems in the primary care/physician office environment, and familiarity with the day-to-day operation of primary care clinics. Experience working with related systems such as Alberta Netcare and CII/CPAR. Demonstrated knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Access). Good understanding of change management, project management and quality improvement activities. Ability to train and mentor EMR users and teams to implement processes and standard procedures. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as a member of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Experience working with quality improvement and change management methods. travel to physician clinics within South Zone.
