Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, human resources, business administration or related field combined with a minimum of 5 years of related experience. Equivalencies may be considered based on education and experience.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Previous experience with stakeholder engagement, consultation, and facilitation. Previous experience working with internal and external stakeholders. Experience working in a capacity where you supported or led D&I initiatives (preference to those who have navigated D&I issues within the public sector or a large-scale organization). Experience in development, coordination and implementation of diversity and inclusion programs, policies, practices, and related organizational change strategies. Experience working with diverse communities, groups and/or organizations (i.e., ethno-cultural, equity-setting, racialized, faith-based, LGBTQ2S+, vulnerable, marginalized, persons with disabilities, and persons across all age groups, etc.). Experience leading, supporting, or managing workforce/employee resource groups. Previous experience working in a large enterprise organization (5000+ employees). Monitoring/reporting to create awareness, identify trends and emerging issues and opportunities.


Preferred Qualifications:

Canadian Certified Inclusion Professional (CCIP) or Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR). Previous experience working in community settings and/or marginalized communities. Experience with Gender Based Analysis Plus (GBA+). Experience consulting on complex or sensitive issues such as human rights related complaints and investigations. Experience with leading, supporting, or managing diversity & inclusion committees.
