A minimum of 5 years related experience in health care laundry & housekeeping, in a supervisory or management role is required.
Additional Required Qualifications:The candidate should have a good knowledge of infection, prevention and control of diseases as it relates environmental cleaning and laundry processing. Must have knowledge of all laundry and housekeeping products, chemicals, and equipment used to perform functions of operational area. Should also have a good knowledge of relevant Occupational Health and Safety issues. Ability to function with a high degree of autonomy, and demonstrate critical thinking skills. Effective communications with strong organizational skills, client-focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services. Demonstrated customer service experience. Experience in laundry operations is an asset.
Preferred Qualifications:Completion of a University Degree in Business Administration or health related field is an asset. Completeion of a Certificate or Diploma program in Supervision/Management is preferred. Equivalencies of education, training and and experience will be considered. Experience in laundry operations an asset.
