Active or eligible registration with the College and Association of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CARTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Active BCLS-HCP required. Excellent computer skills with competencies in Microsoft Excel/Word and Adobe Acrobat. Advanced knowledge of home mechanical ventilators. Excellent case and workload management skills. High level of skill in the critical review of patient medical records. Excellent independent working skills. Effective communication and organizational skills. Strong track record in establishing and maintaining effective working. relationships with team members through team meeting attendance and program quality improvement work. Effective member of internal and external multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications:ACLS, NALS, PALS preferred. A minimum of 5 years of critical and/or community care is preferred. Advanced knowledge of current in-use acute care ventilators is preferred.
