Active or eligible registration with the College and Association of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CARTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy. Current BCLS-HCP, NRP certification including expiration date. This RRT position includes the following physical requirements: being on one's feet for extended periods of time (including walking/standing), exposure to infectious diseases, and hazardous situations for which they are trained; be able to assist in transporting, lifting, and positioning of patients; be able to bend, lift, push, and pull equipment up to 20lbs and sometimes exceeding 20 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:Minimum 1 year of independent clinical Respiratory Therapy experience within the last 5 years in an acute care hospital setting (NICU/Wards/ED/ICU). Minimum 1-year independent clinical RRT experience in a Level II/III NICU within the last 5 years. Current PALS, ACLS, CRE Certification, including expiration date. Professional development courses within the last 3 years. Completed orientation to the PLC site.
