Active or eligible registration with the College and Association of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CARTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Current BCLS-HCP Certification, including expiration date. Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy Minimum 1-year independent clinical Respiratory Therapy experience within the last 3 years in an acute care hospital setting. Consideration may be given to graduates of a Respiratory Therapy program who have completed a final practicum in an acute care setting.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with pediatric populations in a professional or volunteer capacity. Formal preceptor training. Asset or equivalent Simulation Facilitation training. Current PALS certification including expiration date. Current NRP certification including expiration date. Charge/Team Lead experience. Outreach/Rapid Response Team Experience. Pediatric and/or Neonatal Inter-facility transport training and experience.
