Completion of a post-secondary diploma/degree in a health or science-related discipline. Current registration with the applicable professional association or college as required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Fluency in English. Bachelor of Science degree in a health or science related field, with a research design background Experience with, and/or understanding of research methodology Computer proficiency using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) database software (i.e., REDCap) and statistical analysis (ie. SPSS) software Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to work in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision Precise documentation skills/detail oriented. Ability to work efficiently in a professional and ethical manner in accordance with University of Alberta and Alberta Health Services policies and procedures. Strong written and communication skills required. Ability to manage competing demands and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:Education supplemented by training &/or experience in a clinical child healthcare environment. Master’s level education. 2 years of clinical research experience. Experience working with children and their families. Experience with: University of Alberta & Alberta Health Services. Research databases. Health Research Ethics Review (HERO) Ability to use Reference Manager Software (i.e., RefMan, EndNote or ProCite). NACTRC study coordinator training.
