Non-restricted registration in good standing with the Alberta College of Paramedics (ACoP) as a Primary Care Paramedic (PCP). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP) issued by Heart and Stroke. Must be able to obtain a valid Class 4 Alberta Operator Licence, or equivalent, and a current five (5) year driver's abstract - within six (6) months with no more than six (6) demerits prior to commencing work. Must provide proof of certificate of successful completion of Functional Abilities Recruitment Evaluation (F.A.R.E.) test by the Lifemark, or an approved equivalent test, prior to receiving an offer of employment - applicable to all applicants, including AHS employees who do not hold a clinical position within AHS EMS (VESST, Clinical Educator, EMR, PCP, ACP and Community Paramedic). Additional Required Qualifications:Successful candidate must work collaboratively with a patient, their family and members of the patient’s healthcare team, consulting with other healthcare providers when necessary. Must act respectfully in a manner that upholds the patient, coworker and employers' dignity, safety, privacy, confidentiality and decision-making; taking into account the patient, coworker and employers rights, needs, culture and environmental context.
