Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:CRNA registration required and expected to be maintained through your employment. Heart & Stroke Foundation BCLS - HCP level is required and expected to be maintained through your employment. Graduation from an approved nursing education program is required. Previous Orthopedic surgery experience required. Previous Arthroplasty experience required. Demonstrated excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and priority setting skills required. Demonstrated reliability required. Able to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Basic computer skills are required. New graduates welcome to apply. Preferred Qualifications:Two years Charge nurse experience preferred. CNA Specialization in Orthopedics preferred. Direct IV, PICC, and experience with the care of patients with spinal anesthesia preferred.
