Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum two years' working as an RN/RPN in emergency, forensic psychiatry, mental health or correctional services. Previous experience as a Charge Nurse. Working with a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in harm reduction and overdose response. Working with diverse and/or marginalized populations, particularly the homeless and people who use substances. Knowledge of problems encountered by Indigenous people in using health care services, and of health care systems providing care to Indigenous people. Knowledge of an Indigenous language.
