Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Completion of the distance-learning program with the Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence Canada or the Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nursing educational program with Cleveland Clinic's R.B. Turnbull, Jr., MD School of Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing. Minimum three years of nursing experience, within the last five years. Minimum two years of wound and/or ostomy experience within the last five years. Ability to meet the physical demands of the job.

Preferred Qualifications:

Active Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence Canada membership. Canadian Nursing Association certified Wound, Ostomy and Continence WOCC(C)®. Meditech, MS Office Suite, Lync and Telehealth training. Assisted Aids to Daily Living (AADL) authorization experience.
