Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse with 2 years experience in the last 5 years at the equivalent of a 0.50 FTE or greater in the Alberta provincial Public Health Nursing programs. Minimum 1 year of experience in the last 5 years within the Alberta Provincial Public Health Immunization Programs including scheduling and related standards. Ability to think critically in assessing and executing complex deliverables with minimal supervision and without standardized scripting. Ability to adapt to rapidly shifting priorities in a complex change-oriented environment. Computer proficiency with the ability to use multiple applications simultaneously in a fast paced healthcare environment. Successful candidates may be reassigned as needed depending on operational requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with immunization/CDC databases (CD/OM, Meditech, Netcare, Redcap) and software applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, Sharepoint).
