Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Must have worked in a Territorial health care setting preferably in a remote Health Centre. Must have a vial drivers license and knowledge of the Edmonton road system, as this program is at or out of the Royal Alexandra Hospital but covers all AHS facilities within the Edmonton region.
Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor of Nursing preferred. Diverse experience and background of Emergency or critical care preferred.
