Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with: Related training and experience in the Standards of Care for the health of Transsexual, Transgender, and Gender Nonconforming People (WPATH 2011). Minimum of 3 years of related nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree in Nursing. Knowledge and experience with: Experience in mental health assessment and treatment including the provision of Psychoeducation and Psychotherapy. Substance use disorders and/or process addictions.
