Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships. Strong communication, critical thinking and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast paced, non-sedentary nursing role. Walk minimum of 3 Kilometers per shift, including stairs while carrying up to 25 lbs. Patient transport/lift/transfer & reposition while using equipment such as lifts, wheelchairs, walkers etc. Community experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:Recent ISFL case management experience. Recent community experience. Recent experience working with the geriatric population. Understanding of the current CCHSS as it relates to the Case Management in Supportive Living.
