Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

1-2 years recent Homecare nursing and/or Teletriage experience is required. Excellent verbal, written and telephone communication skills are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred; however, skills and experience relevant to nursing practice in community sector will be considered. Applicants with broad based nursing experience in other fields of nursing such as Supportive Living or Facility Living with an extensive knowledge of community resources may be considered. Preference will be given to applicants with advanced computer skills and an accurate typing speed of 50+ wpm. Experience with advanced telecommunications systems.
