Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum 2 years NICU and/or PICU experience within the last 5 years is required, or will consider minimum 3 or more years other Paediatric or ICU experience in the last 5 years. Active NRP certification.
Preferred Qualifications:Baccalaureate degree in nursing. 3 or more years NICU/PICU nursing experience within the last 5 years. PALS Certification. Completion of a postgrad neonatal certificate. Prior Connect Care training. Advanced critical care nursing certifications. Canadian Nurses Association NICU/PICU Certification. American Association of Critical Care Nurses Certification. Participation in working groups/committees or quality improvement initiatives. Previous leadership experience.
