Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Experience in at least one of the following departments is required: acute care, emergency, intensive care, operating room, obstetrics, continuing care, and psychiatry and a willingness to learn new skills as required. Ability to work shift work and meet the physical demands of the job. As part of a multidisciplinary team of dedicated health care professionals, you will be expected to utilize your critical thinking and problem-solving skills to provide direct patient and family centered care to patients across the life span. You will also demonstrate a professional and positive attitude with excellent communication while prioritizing multiple demands.
Preferred Qualifications:Certification(s) in a relevant specialty area, charge nurse experience, past leadership training/experience. Experience in more than one of the following departments is preferred: acute care, emergency, intensive care, operating room, obstetrics, continuing care, and psychiatry and a willingness to learn new skills as required.
