Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:3-5 years of pediatric oncology experience within the last 6 years, including BMT, hematology and immunology. Current APHON chemotherapy certification. Central Venous Catheter certification. Working knowledge of SCM.
Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor of Nursing degree. Level II CVC care certification. CPHON certification. Day Charge Certified. Night Charge Certified. Completion of Pediatric BMT modules including CAR-T. Experience as part of one or more initiatives or committee(s): Safety, Education, Quality Improvement, etc.
