Required Qualifications:

Completion of a certificate from an accredited Dental Assisting Program. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Dental Assistants (CADA).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Completion of Probing module BLS for Healthcare Providers 2 years chairside dental assisting experience required Experience in a hospital-based dental clinic Experience working with Persons with disabilities Experience working with medically compromised patients Experience with procedural sedation Experience working in an Operating Room environment Knowledge of infection prevention and control standards Excellent keyboarding and grammar skills Familiarity with Microsoft Office software and usage Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to quickly establish rapport with others; team player Empathy for clients facing life challenges
