Completion of a certificate from an accredited Dental Assisting Program. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Dental Assistants (CADA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum 5 years' experience working with children in a healthcare setting. Five years’ experience providing preventive services such as pit and fissure sealants, fluoride varnish applications. Current Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS) registration is required. You must be able to lift and move up to 30 pounds. This position requires a vehicle for business use. Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a motor vehicle in good repair which can accommodate portable dental equipment is necessary as work-related travel is required.
Preferred Qualifications:Three years’ experience in Public Health/Community Health.
