Required Qualifications:

Completion of a certificate from an accredited Dental Assisting Program. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Dental Assistants (CADA).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience in a clinical background necessary. Must have strong knowledge and skills with Microsoft Office programs. Demonstrates experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment, self-initiated and able to work as a team. Travel within the Edmonton zone is part of the work and successful applicant must have a reliable vehicle to use on a day-to-day basis.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience using electronic medical documentation will be an asset. Relevant experience delivering dental sealant and fluoride varnish service to the pediatric population will also be an asset. Good understanding of AHS Oral Health Action plan. Previous experience working with Meditech and Connect Care.
