Required Qualifications:

Completion of a certificate from an accredited Dental Assisting Program. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Dental Assistants (CADA).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Current Basic Life Support – Healthcare Provider (BCLS). Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Dental Assistant in a dental office setting within the last 5 years. Experience performing dental services with pediatric patients. Experience treating patients with physical and/or developmental challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Dental Assistant in an acute care hospital setting within the last 5 years.
