Completion of a recognized Human Resource Diploma program required; undergraduate degree is preferred (equivalent education and experience may be considered). Minimum three (3) years experience related to recruitment and selection processes including interviewing and reference checks. Familiarity with recruitment practices in a multi-unionized health care setting required. Previous Human Resources experience (recruitment related) required.
Additional Qualifications:Strong interpersonal and communications skills with a high level of professionalism. Proficient using MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Strong organizational and time management skills required. Demonstrated ability to promote teamwork, collaboration and partnership. Ability to prioritize work while monitoring details and quality of work to ensure accuracy of information. Candidate must possess a valid driver's license (travel between the Covenant Health sites may be required).
Preferred Qualifications:Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation an asset (formerly CHRP). Experience using various applicant tracking systems and/or Human Resource Information Systems preferred.
