Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation or Recreation and Leisure Studies. Active or eligible registration for Professional Membership with Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Association (ATRA). Minimum three years' related clinical experience as a Recreation Therapist.

Additional Required Qualifications:

A high level of physical effort (60-70%) is related to clinical caseload. The therapist may be required to maintain a standing position with lifting, bending, and/or rotation related to client transfers or therapeutic recreation interventions. A high degree of concurrent mental effort (70-80%) is required related to clinical decision making. Proven leadership skills demonstrated.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a rehabilitation or clinical setting an asset. Experience in pediatrics is desired. Experience with e-clinician is an asset.
