Required Qualifications:

Completion of doctoral degree in Psychology in an applied area relevant to the practice setting from a Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) or American Psychological Association (APA) program. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years working within Adult Addiction and Mental Health. Minimum of 1 year working within an ambulatory and/or community clinic setting. Demonstrated proficiency with individual and family therapy. Demonstrated ability to manage a case list and work within tight timeframes. Demonstrated ability to work on a team. Demonstrated ability to engage in quality improvement and program development. Proficiency with both CBT and DBT therapy modalities. Demonstrated time management abilities. The position requires the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated understanding of all Addiction and Mental Health Calgary Zone programs and Outpatient Service Re-design standards/required framework. Additional training in forensic psychology, sexual offender treatment modalities, sexual offender assessment tools. Experience completing court reports. Familiarity with RNR model and Good Lives model. Experience with Sexual Offender Population.
