Master's degree in Psychology in an applied area relevant to the practice setting from an accredited university program. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Psychological services, including risk assessment, formal assessment, individual therapy and development and facilitation of educational/psychoeducational and psychotherapy groups. Experience in administration and interpretation of assessment tools and writing of a formal assessment report. Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and clinical skills (individual, family, assessment and group). Must be coupled with the ability to be self-directed, highly motivated and work effectively within a team environment. A strong working relationship and ability to collaborate with the program Psychiatrists will be required for this position. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. Preferred Qualifications:Experience working in an inpatient program is considered an asset. Strong technological skills considered an asset regarding the use of psychological assessment programs, Microsoft Suite, and AHS internal software.
