Post-secondary degree in a health care profession, business or related field. Relevant project management specific education, training, or certification in project management from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in project management, including knowledge of project management principles, tools and methodologies.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Experience with coordinating/leading teams through facilitation/coordination of project planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation. Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a unique project environment where project resources and subject matter experts have limited availability to contribute. Demonstrated skill in verbal and written communication; ability to relay or explain complex issues or difficult situations. Proven ability to foster relationships with varied internal and external individuals and groups. Ability to work independently, prioritize and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Three years of experience in a healthcare organization. Experience working directly with clinicians and communicating with health care professionals and executives. Experience leading projects within a healthcare organization. Training in change management and health services planning is an asset. Skill in critical thinking and problem solving. Ability to develop and facilitate presentations to convey information or transfer knowledge Facilitation skills.
