Required Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Emergency Management, a clinical discipline (e.g. Nursing, Allied Health), public / health administration or social sciences, or equivalent experience. Five years’ recent experience in a complex health care environment that includes managing large-scale projects and facilitating and managing consultation processes with a wide range of stakeholder groups. Certification or equivalent education/experience in project management, change management and/or business analysis. Completion of ICS 200.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Comprehensive knowledge of project management principles and methodologies. Training in Business Continuity Management and Risk Management. Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze and resolve complex problems. Ability to balance and organize work of self, identifying and managing multiple and complex priorities, resolve problems in a timely manner, meet deadlines and work under pressure with minimal supervision. Ability to provide leadership and advice to others. Ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with others and as part of a team. Ability to utilize initiative, vision, independent thinking and creative problem-solving abilities to implement project plans and realize project completion. Demonstrated, effective verbal and written communication skills to function within a complex interdisciplinary environment involving multi-disciplinary and inter-professional communities. Effective collaboration, facilitation, persuasion and negotiation skills to achieve consensus, resolve conflict and achieve desired outcomes.


Preferred Qualifications:

Certified in project management (CAPM, APM, PPM or other). Certified in change management (Prosci Certified Change Practitioner or other). Entry Certificate in Business Analysis. Completion of ICS 300. Experience in process analytics, improvement, and mapping. Experience and certification in change management. Experience in incident management. Knowledge of the health care system / clinical space.
