Required Qualifications:

Active registration with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists; Master’s degree in Audiology. Minimum of 7-10 years of practice or operational leadership in organizations of significant size, complexity, and diversity. Evidence of significant depth and breadth of expertise in own health discipline and broad knowledge of other disciplines across sectors and the care continuum. Ability to present complex ideas, anticipate potential barriers and influence others to adopt a preferred point of view or direction.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Evidence of significant knowledge, experience and expertise in pediatric audiology. Proven ability to foster partnerships, achieve organizational goals within a large, diverse organization, and manage within a unionized sector. Ability to foster a climate of collaboration and cooperation among, and build solid relationships with, public agencies, government, boards, committees and other stakeholders/partners. Uses strategic thinking, taking into account AHS and Alberta Health long-term goals and assessing options and implications. Leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision-making responsibilities, coaching, mentoring.


Preferred Qualifications:

Membership in provincial and national audiology associations, Experience in and/or with an EHDI Program. Change Management, Project Management, Quality Improvement, Evaluation, Implementation Science Certification and/or related experience.
