Required Qualifications:

Active registration with the professional applicable association and discipline specific Master’s degree or Master’s degree in a related field. Minimum of 7-10 years practice or operational leadership in organizations of significant size, complexity and diversity.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Proven ability to foster partnerships and to achieve organizational goals within a large, diverse organization and managing within a unionized sector. Ability to foster a climate of collaboration and cooperation among, and build solid relationships with, public agencies, government, boards, committees and other stakeholders/partners. Uses strategic thinking, taking into account AHS and Alberta Health long-term goals assessing options and implications. Leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching, mentoring and teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Ability to lead change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues. Knowledge and demonstrated application of theory and facilitators of professional practice. Knowledge and demonstrated application of business planning, modeling concepts, and program/project management theories, principles and practices. Ability to steward diverse human, financial and physical resources in a changing and multifaceted environment with diverse, complex and sensitive issues.


Preferred Qualifications:

Change Management Certification.
