Required Qualifications:

Completion of 3rd Class Power Engineering Certificate.

Additional Qualifications:

High School Diploma (Grade 12). Must hold a valid Alberta Boilers Branch 3rd Class Power Engineer Certificate of Competency. Must be mechanically inclined with the desire to take responsibility for a power plant. Experienced in high pressure Power Plants and institutional maintenance. Communication skills are essential. Must be able to speak, write, and follow written instructions in English. Experience in the use of computers, peripherals, and various standard office software applications. Experience in the operation of various control systems including. Building Management Systems (BMS), boiler controls and safety systems, programmable logic controllers (PLC), human machine interfaces (HMI), and fire alarm systems would be considered an asset. Note: Possession of a valid driver’s license is required.
