Completion of 2nd Class Power Engineering Certificate.
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum of two (2) years progressive experience in the operation and maintenance of a 1st Class Power Plant in a hospital setting is required. Valid Province of Alberta or Inter-Provincial 2nd Class Power Engineer Certificate of Competency is required. Valid Class 5 Alberta Drivers License. Must have excellent written/verbal communication skills. An excellent attendance record, reliability and personal suitability must be demonstrated through your employment records and references.
Preferred Qualifications:Additional courses in power engineering, mechanical, electrical, as well as computer systems (preferably ABB), and/or experience in water treatment, engineering would be an asset. Considerable experience in HVAC, Preventative Maintenance Systems, Computer Network Systems and current industrial software is also desired.
