Required Qualifications:

Active or eligible for registration with the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT); or with the applicable Alberta regulatory college for the professions of, but not limited to Respiratory Therapist, Electroneurophysiology Technologist, Electroencephalography Technologist; Registered Nurse; or Licensed Practical Nurse.

Additional Required Qualifications:

BCLS-HCP. Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) OR eligibility to write the BRPT exam within 1 year. Active or eligible registration with the College and Association of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CARTA). One year experience within the past 5 years as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in a tertiary pediatric critical care facility.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a pediatric sleep lab. ACH Critical Care experience (PICU, NICU, IP, ED). Experience with a variety of critical care and home care ventilators as well as various ventilation modes. AIW or equivalent Quality improvement training. Member of a multidisciplinary committee within the past 2 years.
