Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program. Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.
Additional Required Qualifications:Experience providing physiotherapy care in an interdisciplinary team. Minimum 1 years of working experience in an inpatient or outpatient rehabilitation area. Experience working with Therapy Assistants. Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated effective time management and organization skills. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite programs (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Active Heart and Stroke Foundation BLS Certification by first day of work.
Preferred Qualifications:Minimum 1 year of oncology experience (e.g. pain and symptom management, head and neck cancer care, breast cancer care, CNS cancer care). Full or partial certification in lymphedema management (e.g. Vodder, Klose, Norton). Experience providing virtual care in the last 12 months. Alberta Aids to Daily Living authorizer status. Experience working with Therapy Assistants. Experience facilitating groups. Master’s degree in Physiotherapy.
