A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Health Administration, Business, Human Resources, Public Health, or a related discipline. A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in recruitment, workforce planning, or talent management — ideally within a healthcare, academic, or similarly complex environment. Demonstrated success in leading or supporting strategic initiatives, including planning, execution, and evaluation. Experience providing day-to-day supervision or mentorship to administrative support roles. Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities and stakeholders to achieve targeted outcomes. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build effective relationships across diverse teams and organizational levels. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, including comfort working with data to support decision-making. Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and navigate complex or novel situations with professionalism and discretion.
Additional Required Qualifications:As Required.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a medical department, academic health setting, or healthcare recruitment. Knowledge of Alberta’s health system (CPSA, AHS, physician resource planning). Background in physician engagement, recognition, or retention strategy. Certification/training in project management (e.g., PROSCI), physician recruitment (CaSPR), or HR (e.g., CPHR) preferred.
