The successful candidate shall have professional certification and/or certified as a clinical biochemist (i.e. FCACB designation or equivalent). Candidates eligible for certification may be considered. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated relevant clinical and academic experience.
Additional Qualifications:Areas of sub-specialty expertise summarized under this position include: therapeutic drug monitoring, toxicology and trace elements testing, organization and supervision of clinical laboratories, theory and practice of laboratory methodologies, quality management, statistical analysis, method evaluation and epidemiology. Acts as a principle laboratory professional in the areas of therapeutic drug monitoring, clinical toxicology, trace elements testing and instrumented analysis in the Toxicology and Core Laboratories.
Preferred Qualifications:Effective communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast past, large laboratory institute with demanding priorities. Able to handle change, be flexible, and be team-orientated in challenging and diverse environment. Applicants shall possess a strong track record of collegiality with co-workers, academic accomplishments, and evidence of ongoing continued education in laboratory biochemistry medicine.
