Required Qualifications:

Completion of a CCAPP-accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) as a Pharmacy Technician.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Previous hospital pharmacy experience required with preference given to individuals with a minimum of 5 years of hospital experience. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be customer focused, and committed to quality improvement. Must demonstrate flexibility and ability to work in a team environment. Incumbent must be self-directed, well-organized, and flexible to meet changing needs of population served. Some travel may be required i.e. offsite attendance at team meetings, and site visits when necessary. Pharmaceutical preparation knowledge is required but is not the focus of this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with current/EPIC and legacy pharmacy health information systems is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Access and MS Excel, is highly desired. Project experience is considered an asset.
