Completion of a CCAPP-accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) as a Pharmacy Technician.
Additional Required Qualifications:Pharmacy experience with a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to order entry, checking, sterile compounding, and all aspects of drug distribution such as ward stock, narcotics, and individual prescriptions. Experience in all aspects of oncology practice, including but not limited to IV order entry, setup, preparation, and medication distribution. Experience with validation programs that assess proficiency in identified tasks such as aseptic technique, computer order entry, and final product checking. Preferred Qualifications:1 year or more experience in a retail Pharmacy setting. Membership in CAPhO. Membership with a Pharmacy professional organization.
