Completion of a CCAPP-accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) as a Pharmacy Technician.
Additional Required Qualifications:2 years as a Regulated Pharmacy Technician with Alberta College of Pharmacists. 2 years Hospital Related Pharmacy Drug Distribution Center. 2 years' experience with FastPak Elite & Verify Automated Repackaging Equipment. 2 years Rural Hospital Pharmacy experience including but not limited to validated for final product checking, inventory medication management and procurement. Demonstrate proficiency in the following: communication (verbal and written), interpersonal abilities, respectful work environments, organizational and problem solving skills, ability to work independently and in teams as required, computer skills, continual personal quality improvement and lifelong learning. Must be in good physical condition as majority of shift involves typing, static positions, heavy lifting, standing, crouching, bending, pushing, pulling, kneeling, walking and standing for extended periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications:FastPak Elite & Verify Automation Experience. EPIC trained & experience. Centralized Drug Production Service Model Experience. Inventory Management Experience. Preceptor for Technician Student Learning Rotations. Remote Workload Checking and Team Support.
