Required Qualifications:

Completion of a CCAPP-accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) as a Pharmacy Technician.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Hazardous sterile compounding skills including current certification status is highly desired. Authorized chemotherapy checking status will also be viewed favorably.

Preferred Qualifications:

6 months or more recent experience in a retail Pharmacy setting and/or sterile compounding experience. Membership and involvement in Pharmacy professional organization(s) such as CAPHO, PTSA, CAPT, ACP, CSHP and PEBC. Patient focus is a must, including a willingness to interact with patients on a daily basis.
