Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:2+ years or more of direct oncology practice experience is required. Graduate of recognized Pharmacy Assistant program and/or 1 year minimum experience in retail or hospital pharmacy experience required. Connect Care oncology experience is required which includes Oracle experience. Required to stand and or sit for long periods at a time. Required to work with arms extended for sustained periods of time. Required to lift up to 30 lbs. and occasionally 50 lbs., push/pull carts, repetitive bending. Good organizational, problem-solving and decision-making ability. Displays professionalism, tact, courtesy, discretion and respects confidentiality. Must be accurate, reliable, precise, cooperative, self-motivated and able to demonstrate effective service attitude. Must be able to work both independently and cooperatively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of various office equipment, unit dose packaging equipment. Knowledge of Pharmacy Drug Formulary preferred. Experience Canada Post Software preferred. Investigational and Special Access Drug Knowledge preferred. Membership with a Pharmacy professional organization.
