Required Qualifications:

Completion of Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Formal Education - Pharmacy degree from recognized institution: Eligible for licensure with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (successful candidates are expected to obtain licensure as soon as possible). Experience Minimum 5 years working experience in a clinical pharmacy role. Successful completion of pharmacy residency program and/or recent experience within hospital pharmacy. Experience working in an outpatient and/ or community setting. Experience working in an electronic medical record, including the development of clinical workflows and content validation. Experience with Windows based computer applications. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Fluency in English (verbal and written). Competency with word processing, spreadsheets, internet, Tableau, RL, Electronical Medical Record and other computer software as required. Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills. Excellent organizational, problem solving and decision making ability. Displays tact, courtesy, discretion and respects confidentiality. Must be accurate, reliable, precise, co-operative and able to demonstrate effective service attitude. Self-motivated; able to work both independently and cooperatively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

The position requires an organized and motivated self-starter who has the ability to work independently as well as in a team setting by establishing a positive rapport with a variety of health care professionals. Hospital pharmacy residency, APA preferred. Experience with patient care team preferred. Experience with computer medication order entry and system design, IV admixture and unit dose drug distribution an asset.
