Required Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Additional Prescribing Authorization (APA) Recent direct patient care experience and demonstrated ability to work to full scope of practice including but not limited to, APA, laboratory ordering. The candidate must be self-directed, well organized and capable of making decisions while working independently. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and have a clear focus on self-directed learning and continuing education.

Preferred Qualifications:

Completion of a Canadian accredited pharmacy residency program or a post-graduate clinical pharmacy degree, e.g. PharmD. Active membership with the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists (CSHP). Pharmacy related experience in a hospital setting or in direct patient care providing comprehensive medication management services. Previous experience in nephrology, transplant or internal medicine areas. Minimum 2 years Clinical Pharmacist experience within the last three years.
