Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Experience applying evidence-based medicine in direct patient care (minimum 2 years) required. Effective oral and written communication skills required. Excellent organizational and time management skills, including ability to switch priorities and multitask, required. Proven ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a team environment required. Excellent skills using a variety of computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and pharmacy computer software required.
Preferred Qualifications:Completion of accredited Canadian hospital pharmacy residency, post-graduate residency program specializing in drug information, or equivalent experience. PharmD or advanced clinical training credentials (e.g. Certified Diabetes Educator, Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist). Recent hospital pharmacy experience preferred. Recent clinical experience providing care to patients as part of a multidisciplinary team (at least 1 year within the last 5 years) preferred.
